Connected Sampling is newsworthy! Mobile Marketer published an article about Brandshare’s recent Connected Sampling™ campaign with Mucinex, built around QR codes.
Circumventing limitations on shipping some medications, Mucinex sent branded tissue packs to approximately 35,000 consumers, using mobile to support its brand and retail partner. The collateral card included a QR code with a “buy now” call to action, which, in partnership with SmartCommerce, carted 15,000 products for a total value of $241,257.
Ashley Keller, shopper marketing lead at Mucinex/Reckitt Benckiser, said using QR codes was particularly helpful to ensure Mucinex would reach an audience that was based on the general population. "With this, the dollars are spent so much more wisely," she said. "We're reaching these shoppers in their homes.”
With the resurgence of QR codes coupled with safety concerns of in-store sampling, now is the right time to deliver a Connected Sampling campaign to the homes of your target consumer at scale with efficiency.
